Trang is an unexploited world for tourists though the area is rich of attractions like the Chao Mai National Park, the Ratjamongkala National Park, Had Yao and Yong Ling National Parks or the nearby Hot Springs. Certainly most attractive for the tourists are the islands of the Trang province: Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan, Koh Mook, Koh Libong, Koh Lao Lieng, Koh Takieng, Koh Petra, Koh Sukorn, Koh Rok and smaller islands like Koh Mak, Koh Chuak and Koh Wen. It's very hard to understund that this is Thailand, it seem to be in Polinesia or at Maldives. The resorts that i suggest for a nice holiday in this area are the Rubber Three Bungalow in Koh Mook and the Kalume' Village in Koh Kradan.

Many people reach this area from Krabi or Phuket only for a day trip but probably one week is not enough to explore all these magic places. Koh Mook become every day more famous for the spectacular Esmerald Cave (Morakot Cave in Thai), but probably the jewel of Trang is Koh Kradan, with the finest with beach of all south est Asia. The amazing coral reef all around Koh Kradan is perfect for the lovers of snorkeling and divers. It's very hard to describe with words this paradise. Behind Koh Kradan, only one hour faraway with long tail, sleep in the water the incredible Koh Rok, with his magnificent coral reef. The atmosphere here is of total relax and wild nature with big iguana that walk all around the island.

Koh Libong is the perfect place for people who love the birdwatching and the untouched nature, this is the place of the Dugongo! Not faraway from Libong are located Koh Lao Lieng and Koh Petra, this is a National Park, many maps not include these two islands because of the presence of the swallow nests. The area is protected and the only way to go there is to talk with local fishermans. Great cliffs all around these two islands.
